Thank you for your interest in the New Life Community Meal Ministry. We serve a free meal to anyone in the community that wishes to come in and receive one. We have no requirements for any individual or family coming to receive a meal and no questions are asked of them, we just serve them a meal. We have an all-volunteer staff and team members, no paid employees. All and any funding received goes to the support of the ministry (rent, utilities and supplies). The Meal Ministry was started on Jan. 15, 2007 in the basement of our church located at 246 East Franklin Street at that time. The ministry operates from only minor funding from our association and donations. Last year we served over 14,600 meals and we are on track to do more than that this year. In addition to our goal to give anyone that needs a meal, a meal, we would like this ministry to be a community supported and funded ministry. We are looking for other churches, organizations and individuals to partner with us to help support the ministry and also to volunteer their time to serve.
